Parish News & Events

Gift Aid - Please help your parish by Gift Aiding your weekly offering.  This means that your weekly offering will increase by 25%.  Free money from HMRC!! Nobody likes paying tax, but this way the tax you have paid on your weekly offering will be paid back to St Mary’s Church at no extra cost to yourself.  BUT you must meet these 2 conditions: (a) you must be paying tax in the UK, (b) the weekly offering must be given either in a special Gift Aid envelope or via a bank standing order.  Please collect a Gift Aid mandate and a standing order form today and return it next week.  If you want to ask any question concerning Gift Aid, or require further information, please contact Doreen Utley or one of the priests.  Thank you for your continued help.

If are already Gift Aiding but no longer pay tax please inform one of the priests as soon as possible, this is very important, we must not claim a tax return on those who are non-tax payers. May I thank you for supporting the parish so generously.
